Bike Race Schedule

*Friday, April 24, 2026*

• 6:00 am Virtual Race Begins - Any miles ridden before this time will not count toward the Virtual Mile Total
• 8:00 am    Bike Race Check-in begins for the in-person race (St. Paul’s Newman Center - 1141 University Dr N, Fargo, ND 58102 in the main lobby)
• 5 pm-7:30 pm    Spaghetti Feed 
  • Check-in will be in the main lobby of the Newman Center
  • Spaghetti Feed will be in the main lobby

• Bike Clinic: put on by Great Northern Bike Company will be in the underground parking lot. Riders may enter through the main doors to the Newman Center and will be directed to the location of the bike clinic.

  • We request that you maintain custody of your bike until Saturday morning. 

  • If you must store your bike due to transportation limitations, you may store it in the underground parking garage at the Newman Center. Limited space is available for overnight bike storage, and space availability cannot be guaranteed.

  • Bikes will be transferred into the Semi truck for transport to and from Hillsboro on Saturday morning.

*Saturday, April 25, 2026*

• 7:00am    Bike Race Check-in - begin loading Semi trailer with bikes

• 7:30am    Begin Loading Buses for Hillsboro. Buses will be parked in the Alumni Center AD Lot. Vehicles will be able to be parked in AD Lot during the race until the buses return to Fargo.

• 8:00am    Buses leave for St. Rose of Lima Parish in Hillsboro - 503 3rd St SE, Hillsboro, ND 58045

• 8:45am    Buses arrive at St. Rose of Lima parish in Hillsboro. Begin unloading bikes from semi trailer and make final preparations for the Bike Race (i.e. use the restroom). 

• 9:30am    Line up at the starting line just north of Hillsboro near the Catholic Cemetery.

• 10:00am    In-person Bike Race begins!!! (This is the cut-off for fundraising dollars to count toward determining the winner. Make sure all people you have reached out to have donated by this time!)

• 11:30am    Recovery Meal in St. Rose’s Parish Hall

• 1-2:00pm    Buses will depart as they are full and return to the Newman Center

  • Important Note: Please stay at the Newman Center to retrieve your bike if at all possible (or plan on coming back around 3pm)! There will be close to 150 bikes, and we will not have sufficient space to store all of them. All bikes not retrieved will be stored in the Newman Center underground parking as space allows, and will not be available for retrieval outside of normal Newman Center business hours.

• 6:00pm    Virtual Race Ends. Any miles ridden or logged after this time will not count toward the Virtual Mile total.

Bike Race Winners will be announced once they are known. Awards will be presented at the Student Leader Appreciation Banquet
